With the recent update of the golden Pokemon inn the game, i have already managed to find a hack.
Before you start you will need Firefox and Fire Bug installed (found here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] )
Go to any map in indigo and start up fire bug

Click <head> then click the first <script type="text/javascript"> then right click then edit

Scroll down until you see this:

Then edit as shown above.
Go back to the map and walk around until you find a pokemon then it should be gold.
Click any pictures full the full thing.
